Job Opportunity at 620AM WDAE

It's not official just yet, but within the next few weeks WDAE will be hiring at least one, possibly two promotions assistants/remote engineers to help out with our Bucs players shows and weekend shows.

 The official ad will come out soon but those interested should get cover letters and resumes ready now. No demo tapes necessary since this is an off-air position.

 Here's the basics from what I know:

* Part-time position

* Requires open afternoons and nights during the week, mornings on the weekends

* A clean driving record and insurance

* Basic knowledge of remote equipment and the willingness to learn from our engineers how to work our equipment.

* Must be able to move and set up some heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).

 Again, no one needs to call or turn in anything yet. Just get it ready for when the job officially opens later this month.

This is a GREAT foot-in-the-door job for those looking to get into radio and/or sports broadcasting. The reason why the position is opening up is our two other promotions assistants are busy with their weekend football show!
