First Coast News (WTLV/WJXX) is looking for a part-time receptionist.
Work schedule will be 1 p.m.-5:30p. Must be able to work a.m. or p.m.
schedule when needed. Duties include: Receives callers, packages and
walk in traffic, determines nature of business, and directs them to the
appropriate area within the station. Performs a variety of clerical
duties, including accepting and routing packages brought into the
station.
Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system to receive incoming
calls, assist guests & visitors by notifying the appropriate
department. Must be able to type minor memos, correspondence, telephone
directory, and other documents as needed. Ability to match invoices to
purchase orders.
Ability to effectively use the stations paging system must be able to
professionally relay information in one-on-one situations to customers,
clients, and employees of the station.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) one to three
years experience preferred.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform
each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
