Position Title: News Producer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce creative daily newscast in a fast-paced, graphics-intensive
environment.
Story ideas in daily meetings.
Responsible for content, use of video and graphics and logistical
coordination.
Coordination of all production functions.
Assist reporters in story development.
Discretion, maturity and composure-especially under pressure.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Possess & and maintain valid driver’s license with acceptable
driving record.
Reports to Executive Producer.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Minimum of three years full time newscast producing experience in
contemporary, progressive broadcast news environment preferred.
Must have demonstrated ability to manage people and other resources.
Ability to work in fast paced environment with daily deadlines and
changing priorities.
Must be able to travel.

Position Title: Investigative Reporter
Location: Miramar
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for gathering information on newsworthy events. Must be
able to write, produce and present fair, accurate and unbiased news
stories as assigned. Must enterprise stories unique to the station and
uncover exclusives that impact the community. Must stay informed on
newsworthy events locally and nationally. Must develop and maintain a
network of news sources providing access to exclusive local news
stories. Must have the ability to work cooperatively as a team member
under tight daily deadlines.
Qualifications:
A minimum of three years experience as an investigative reporter in a
medium to major market as well as a BA degree in Journalism,
Broadcasting, Communications or a related field. Candidate must have
the ability to read and understand a variety of materials ranging from
daily newspapers to technical reports and legal papers. Must be able to
write clear, concise, compelling, conversational and accurate copy that
is grammatically correct. Candidate must have the ability to
investigate information to establish facts and determine truth.
Individual must have a basic understanding of desktop computers and the
ability to learn iNews/Windows system as well as new systems as they
are implemented. Must have a developed ability to use the Internet and
other computer assisted software to seek information. Must be able to
clearly present information on camera either as scripted or in a live
unscripted format. Must participate in daily editorial process and
readily contribute to the gathering of information for daily news. Must
learn how to order critical preproduction and graphic elements through
Arthouse and Telestream. Must be able to travel on assignments as
